Wolfe Tone

The picture shows Bodenstown cemetery in County Kildare, where Theobold Wolfe Tone is buried. Wolfe Tone was one of the "United Irishmen" sentenced to death for his role in planning to overthrow English rule in Ireland in 1798. The poem "Wolfe Tone" is in honor of his heroic efforts and personal sacrifice to make Ireland a free and independent nation.
